What is 8U Softball?

Our 8U program is designed for players ages 7-8 who are ready to take the next step in their softball journey. With coach-pitch games and skill-focused practices, players continue to build their fundamentals while learning game strategies in a fun and supportive environment.

•Game Format: 5-inning games with coach pitching to players.

•Practice Schedule: Weekly practices focus on batting, throwing, catching, and understanding game rules.

•Player Participation: Equal playing time for all players to ensure development and inclusion.

What Parents Need to Know

•Uniforms: Jerseys, caps, and socks are provided. Players should bring their own gloves, cleats, and batting helmets.

•Equipment: The league supplies bats and balls. Players can bring their own gear if preferred.

•Parent Involvement: Parent volunteers are encouraged to assist with team activities, from organizing snacks to scorekeeping.
